"I have had the pleasure of working closely with Darren Davis since the early 1990s, when we collaborated on the creation of the golf course at the Olde Florida Golf Club. Since that time, under the leadership of my Yale classmate Tom Kukk, Darren Davis and Tom Wildenhaus have successfully managed and operated Olde Florida Golf Club, giving Darren the unique perspective of understanding both golf club operations and golf course maintenance at the highest level.

Rees Jones
Rees Jones, son of legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., grew up immersed in the game and founded Rees Jones, Inc. in 1974 after beginning his career with his father’s firm. He has designed or renovated more than 300 golf courses and earned the nickname “The Open Doctor” for his work preparing major championship venues, including U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, Walker Cup and Presidents Cup sites. Jones has received many of golf’s highest honors, including the GCSAA Old Tom Morris Award, ASGCA Donald Ross Award and GCBAA Don A.
